The Iora is a bassinet for infants designed to help parents feel closer to their baby while they sleep. It can be adjusted upwards and downwards and moved to three different slide positions, to fit beside the bed of the parent or in the corner so that the baby is always within reach. The breathable mesh siding allows air to flow through and allows you to glance at your little one. And you can store additional pajamas and other items in the large storage basket beneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside crib that folds flat. travel cot bedside comes with a travel bag to allow it to be carried anywhere. Our mom testers were able to move it from room to room, and believed it was a great size for a small bedside cot, not too big or small. The large storage basket is ideal to store bedding and nappies.
This is a great choice for parents who wish to sleep in a co-sleeping bed, but don't wish to share their bed. If one of the partners has mobility issues like arthritis or back pain. Our mum testers love the fact that they can easily access their child in the Iora, and that it has an optional reflux incline to help alleviate gas.
Our mothers appreciate the fact that the mattress is in line with NICE guidelines, which are to place the infant in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys, pillows, etc). They also claim that the mattress is comfortable and firm for the baby and easy to find sheets for. It's not as light as some of the cribs that are smaller on our list, so if prefer something lighter and easier for you to move, you can choose another alternative.
